Pleon's Red Sky Night

This summer will be Pleon's 136th season!

We remain deeply committed to preserving our mission of engaging kids with sailing through a fun and educational atmosphere. We are refocusing on building a stronger and wider entry point for our programs. With this in mind, we are excited to announce the launch of our Pram campaign, 'Prams for Pleon'!

Pleon plans to introduce Prams to replace Optis across our beginner classes. Prams are a durable and self-bailing dinghy that are easy to rig, similar to Optis, but offer a platform better suited for younger children to get excited about sailing without having to worry about air bags and sail ties. The Pram hulls comes in fun and bright colors and we intend to purchase boats with green hulls so that our sailors can be spotted from around the harbor.   

We are thrilled about this next chapter, which will only be possible with the support of our expansive community. We look forward to formally launching and celebrating this campaign during Red Sky Night. As the goal of the event is to support Pleon and our Pram initiative, we will welcome and appreciate contributions of any size. In exchange for a donation of a full boat, $2,250, the donor will gain naming rights for the boat. We also welcome aggregated donations of $2,250 in exchange for naming rights.

Event is from 6pm-10pm and is 21+. Tickets include heavy passed dinner with drink tickets. Tickets are $75 ahead of time and available at the door for $100.
